# Filtering Job Codes

What operators are supported for filtering the Job Codes API

The following operators are supported to filter data on the Job Codes API. The Job Code API interacts with the company-level Job Code list in the Payroll/HR module. Job Codes are used for job costing in payroll.

The most popular filtering is done by job code. The **code** field represents the job code. Job codes can be customized per client. Use the **Get a list of Job Codes by Company ID** endpoint to retrieve a list of valid job codes.
